What We Do

Digital marketing: building relationships with your online audience.

The TouchStone team brings a lot of hard skills to the table, but we also use questions and conversation to reveal your motivations and the unique value you bring to customers. Uncovering that information helps us develop your digital strategy.

We drive traffic to your website through content marketing, pay-per-click advertising (including paid search), email marketing, IP targeting, GeoFencing, social media, local listings management, and marketing automation.

And we can apply fresh content and SEO updates to continually breathe new life into your website and other digital channels.

As an agency of MadAveGroup, we have easy access to a varied marketing skillset: strategists, designers, copywriters, videographers, media buyers, and others. They give us the flexibility to develop your digital marketing strategy, market and manage your online presence, and even design and build an effective website for you that provides an engaging brand experience for your customers.

Digital Strategy

Without a destination in mind and a plan to get there, it’s easy to wander aimlessly. That’s why we emphasize digital strategy. It’s foundational and helps our team lead your brand to online success.

A sound strategy defines victory, controls costs, keeps the entire team focused on the same goals, and can reduce or even eliminate unpleasant surprises. It also determines the types of content we create for you.

Making lasting impressions on your audience requires consistency. A thoughtful digital strategy is the first step toward building strong customer relationships.

Digital Marketing

Many sub-specialties fall under the heading of digital marketing. The TouchStone team is well-equipped to provide the services listed below.

We’ll make it easier for potential customers to find your website by employing Search Engine Optimization techniques that push your site higher in search results. We also keep up with Google’s ever-changing algorithm updates and monitor the overall health of your website so you don’t have to.

Want to drive visitors to your site quickly? Pay-Per-Click Advertising is often the right tool to make that happen. PPC ads deliver your message to your target audience as they’re searching online. Display (or banner) ads are a form of PPC that can be effective for branding and reaching top-of-the-funnel searchers. Re-targeting serves ads to people who have already clicked on your website. Those searchers are typically at the bottom of the sales funnel and closer to making a buying decision.

Merely capturing data from your website isn’t enough. Our automated marketing systems will help you nurture your leads and convert them to customers. We’ll work with you to define consumer decision workflows, and then devise marketing/sales processes that move your customers through the buying cycle.

The days of the phone book are long gone. Your customers are using search engines and local directories to find your contact information online. So, if your core customers are in your town, you need local listings optimization.

Inaccurate listings can cost you customers, but keeping those listings updated can be difficult and time-consuming. TouchStone partners with many local directories, so we can instantly update your listings. Those partnerships also help us differentiate your company from your competitors by adding specific calls-to-action to each of your listings. When coupled with other website marketing services, such as SEO and content updating, local listings optimization will improve your search engine rankings.

Our email marketing programs help you stay in front of your customers and prospects by delivering your most important marketing messages to targeted inboxes. Email marketing builds trust and brand recognition, encourages a specific response, and creates top-of-mind awareness of your company, products and services, all for pennies or less per impression.

Content marketing is the heartbeat of a comprehensive digital marketing program, yet many companies don’t have the time or resources to produce purposeful content regularly.

We’ll maintain proactive contact with you to stay current on what’s happening with your company. Then, our dedicated writers and designers will develop new and unique content that keeps your company and website relevant for visitors.

A hyper-targeted form of digital advertising, IP Targeting serves ads to specific homes and/or businesses. You just provide the addresses of the audience you want to reach. We’ll run the parcels to match IPs and then begin advertising to your targeted audience. Automated marketing systems with IP Targeting can increase prospect intelligence and are recommended for B2Bs to generate more high-quality leads for an active sales team.

Social media can be a great tool for staying top-of-mind with current and potential customers, but not every social media channel is right for every business. We’ll help you choose the channels that are best for your brand, develop and implement strategies to build your community, and create a strategy that will keep your audience engaged with your content.

Like a website, a social media profile will not develop a community without an active marketing campaign in place. We’ll work with you to develop those campaigns to grow your social presence.

Website Design & Development

Your website should be the center of all your marketing efforts. As such, it needs to reflect your brand identity and include clear calls-to-action. It should also guide your online visitors through the buying journey with intuitive navigation, customer-focused copy that’s easily understood, and a clear definition of your company that provides value to your audience.

Website Health Management

For your website to be as effective as possible, you must think of it as a living, breathing member of your marketing team. Your site requires regular attention and adjustments to stay in compliance with state and federal regulations, to attract visitors and keep them coming back, and to provide the desired brand experience.

At TouchStone Digital, we’re built to play the long game. We factor the ongoing needs of your website into your program so the core of your marketing efforts will always stay strong.

When it comes to maximizing the health of your website, random reviews now and then aren’t good enough. Our scheduled monthly checks will ensure that your site is performing at its best, and our follow-up reports will provide you with the peace of mind that makes your job easier and less stressful.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that websites be easily accessible for people who are hearing and/or visually impaired. Your site may be ADA-compliant when it first launches, but it’s very important to make sure all new pages, images and copy meet ADA standards, too. If your site is not ADA-compliant, you can be fined.

Our ADA-compliance audits include these and other steps:

  • We ensure all images and graphics include alt tags and/or longdesc tags that explain the content for visually impaired visitors.
  • We provide alternative document formats such as HTML, RTF or PDF to assure compatibility with assistive technologies.
  • We design websites and new pages so they can be viewed with the color and font sets in users’ web browsers and operating systems. That helps visitors with low vision.

Search Engine Optimization includes all the practices used to boost a website’s ranking in search engine results. The higher Google or other search engines rank a site, the more likely people are to visit it.

SEO is an ongoing effort and, since there are often many websites competing for the same audience, it’s not a precise science.

During an SEO audit, we use software tools and manual reviews to check your organic website traffic, keyword rankings, website content, the responsiveness of your site (also known as page speeds), indexed pages, domain score, link verification and backlinks. We find and correct any broken links, too.

Dozens of factors can contribute to a website visitor’s positive user experience. These are just a few:
  • The pages load quickly
  • The navigation is intuitive
  • All the links work
  • The company’s contact information is easy to find
  • Each call to action directs the visitor to a logical next step
  • The layout is visually pleasing and easily guides the eye through the site
  • The copy is easy to read
  • Forms are simple, short and non-invasive
  • The privacy terms are easily found

Through regular UX audits we can identify and repair the problems that discourage repeat visits.
Many states have laws pertaining to online privacy. For instance, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) gives consumers several rights over the personal information that businesses collect from them. The law provides the following:
  • The right to know about the personal information a business collects about them and how it is used and shared.
  • The right to delete personal information collected from them (with some exceptions).
  • The right to opt-out of the sale of their personal information.
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising their CCPA rights.

For more details, read “State Laws Related to Internet Privacy” from the National Conference of State Legislatures.
Maintaining brand consistency on your website can be tough, especially as new content is added over time and if several people from various departments are creating or posting that content. We can review your site on a scheduled basis to check if pre-determined brand standards or site-specific standards are being met. We’ll assess the following and more:
  • Image size, style and placement
  • Copy tone, length and style
  • Calls to action
  • Consistency of colors and logo use

If you don’t have a brand standards guide, we can develop one for you.
